Where does your matcha come from?

We source our matcha from Hangzhou and Guizhou in China, two historic tea-growing regions known for producing exceptional green tea. Their climate, soil, and centuries-old tea traditions create matcha with bright color, smooth texture, and naturally balanced flavor.

Is your matcha ceremonial grade?

Our matcha comes from the first harvest, which means it is made from the youngest, most tender tea leaves for the highest quality matcha. The term “ceremonial grade” is commonly used comercially but it is not an official standard in tea production. For us, “ceremonial” reflects what most people associate with premium matcha: a vibrant green color, smooth texture, and delicate umami flavor.
